Let me try to make my page happy again...

Nestor and I last Sunday were called to be teachers for the SUNBEAMS!!!!! We are both so excited and very nerveous! I hope the Lord gives me more patience!!Haha! This should be quite the experiance!

So Sad...

Today I got on my moms computer to check out some things. My mom's homepage is MSN.com, and there was a video that caught my eye. It was this awesome video of Mitt Romney giving a speech on religion. After watching it I wanted to put it on here and say how awesome of a guy Brother Romney is. Well, so I went to youtube to search for the video, I typed in Mitt Romney, and I saw another video that caught my eye. It was a short interview with him about how he feels about immigration. Now as most of you know that is a VERY important issue to me, so I watched it. After it was done I scrolled down the page a little to see what people commented about it. Of course most of it was negative about Mormons and a bunch of other crap..then I saw a comment that said "Mitt Romney's REAL plan if he is president..check out what happens in their temples with their endowments..."it went on to say how to get to see it. Curious, and not believing that there was any way that they could know what holy and sacred things happen in an endowment session, I went to the page. I was blown away to read that a MEMBER recorded an endowment session and told whoever about it and now its online for anyone to see. I didn't read all of it, I couldn't. I had to exit the page before I started crying. But what I did read made me sick. I cant believe that a member who claimed to be worthy to go to the temple, would secretly record an endowment session. It makes me so sad. Anyways...sorry I depressed my page up a little with this post. I love all of you and hope you have a great Christmas!

Wedding Pictures!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long for a new post...I haven't been on for a while.
Anyways, my wedding pictures are up online if anyone wants to check them out! But I'm warning you...there are THOUSANDS of them...(I'm not kidding...there are literally thousands of pictures) the website is www.myelegantimages.com then after you enter the site, in the upper right hand corner it says collages.net, click on that and it will take you to another website where you will find where it says "the wedding of chelsea and nestor"..click on that, the pass code is 9597 ( that's the pass code for EVERYONES pictures..so if you wanted to look at someone elses..now you can) ok..so after you enter the pass code it will ask you for your email and your first name...enter that in and then there ya go..now you get to look at thousands of pictures!! Sorry it took so long for me to tell everyone about them.
I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!! It was so good seeing Lyd, Ry, Eric, Bree, Kissy, Kev, Spencer, Oli, Paul and Sue! We had an awesome Guitar Hero battle! And it was so much fun watching the mom's give it a go!

I have an idea....

OOOK...so since I have learned how to change my background, I have been on a never ending quest for cute wallpaper/backgrounds. And as most of you know, finding cute paper is the hardest part. Now, I dont know how you all will feel about my idea, but im just going to throw it out there anyways. What if...I created a "community photobucket" account that we all can get into and upload our paper on?? That way we can all share what we have found. Now, I know that there is a possibility of peoples pages looking the same..but the more we upload, the less likely that will happen..right? Whatcha think??
IF you do want to share..the username on Photobucket.com is nelsonfampics and the password is password1 . ( Tryin to keep it simple ).
If nobody wants to share..it really doesnt matter to me..I can just delete the account...I just thought this would make things easier to find cute paper! I dont care what any of you say..I know there are better things we could use our money on...but this computer is so amazing!!! And let me just tell you that photobooth is SOOOOO much fun! I am a retard!

So while I have been tryin to figure out how to make my background cute I have discovered a few "new" things I can do with my blog. Now, the "new" things arent really new..I've just now noticed them. For example...every time I would look at Sarahs(or really anyone elses) blog and see that she would put pictures IN the part where she writes..I JUST NOW noticed that there is a an icon RIGHT underneath the title section to add in a picture or a video! I feel like a moron! And let me tell you how excited I am for Lyd to come down this weekend so she can show me how to customize my background!...Html what?! I didnt change anything with html to do my banner so now im even more confused! Hurry and let it be friday so I can learn how to do this crap!..Normally im pretty good at figuring out how to do things like this on the computer..but for some reason I just cant seem to get it! Its very frusterating! Annnyways....if anyone has any "tricks" on how to do cool/cute things to my page please share!

IM MARRIED!!! YAAAAAY!!

Yaaaaay!! Finally! And as much fun as everything was, im glad its over! The temple was amazing! I loved every second of it! And the reception...I wouldnt of changed one thing! (well except for when some of nestor's uncles friends took a jar of punch and spiked it...astleast they left it at their table so none of the kids got a hold of it. but then the caterer took it back into the kitchen to refill it and noticed the strong smell of alcohol in it and dumped it out and refilled it with the nonalcohol stuff!) But the reception was so much fun! One of my favorite things was when the "mariachi" band started playing, all the white people stepped back and all the mexicans rushed the dance floor! Another one of my favorite parts was when Lydia caught the boquet!!! YAAAAY!!! hahahaha! Funny stuff!
DL and DCA was lotsa fun too! There were alot more people there with their kids then we thought..but it was all good! We got to ride all the rides we wanted to with the exception of the Finding Nemo ride...nomatter what time you went, the line was always atleast an hour and a half long so we just decided not to go.
We took lots of pics so i'll try to get those up on here asap.
As of right now we are just trying to get settled into the basement and clean out my mess of a room and bathroom upstairs. LOOOOOTS of stuff is going to D.I. We're also trying to get back into the swing of going back to work...it was so nice to be able to sleep in!! Oh..speaking of work..the situation at the salon should be getting a lot better! One of the girls on the walk in list "left" so there is one less person to compete with!! She would come into the salon at like 7am (the salon doesnt even open till 9) just to make sure she was first and all she would do is jack up the clients hair and make the salon look bad. So im REALLY glad that I dont have to be there 2 hours before the salon opens to get on the walk in list. YAAAAAAY!!!! Anyways...i'll try to get those pics up asap! HOLY CRAP 6 MORE DAYS!!!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!! 6 more days!!! I cant believe how FAST its comming up! CRAAAAZY! I am SOOOOO excited! I seriously wish it was tomorrow but.....then again I dont because I still have things that need to be done..hah! Just incase your one of those people who dont get to see me everyday this is how I feel/how my brain is .."kjahflkashdfiaiurwghaikwusfhaouwnjfakuwlshlfiawkurshfo;wilsjdf uhf ;odfsih ilkh;ohg alsikfhsldikifhwosd"...yep..just like that..but in a good way of course! Ok..so I know its been forever since my last post...but I have a very good excuse! I have been getting the little things all together for the wedding..slowly moving some stuff into the basement/throwing a bunch of my crap away( I know that will make you very very happy Veronica! haha!...yes I will finally do my bathroom so you dont have to feel crazy when you walk in there)
Nestor and I take out our endowments on the 10th! We're both really excited and nerveous!..A while back one of my friends told me that, I guess, there are a lot of people who leave the church after going through the temple because they are so weirded out...which really makes me curious about everything..but I know that everything is done for a reason and if anyone really did leave the church, they obviously werent ready,or worthy, to go through. ..I know everything will be just fine! Have I mentioned how excited I am yet? Because I am SOOOOOO excited! For the longest time I felt like this day would never come, and now its RIGHT around the corner!!!! YAAAAY! And Nestor and I are going to Disneyland and California Adventure for 3 days for our honey moon!! I CAN NOT wait to go! I feel like I havent been to Disneyland in the longest time! And hopefully there wont be a lot of people there. Ok..so now that I've updated all of you a little bit, I gotta go now..I need to do more last minute wedding stuff!! Love ya!

Quick Update!

Sorry for the long delay...again!
Things have been going pretty good overall..most of the wedding stuff is taken care of. I found my dress!! I got Nestor's ring. And a bunch more stuff done that I can cross off of my never ending to-do list! Nestor and I are going to live in my parents basement for a little bit after we get married to save up some money for a house. As excited as I am to be saving up money..it sucks that we will be in my parents basement and wont have as much privacy as we would like..but oh well..it will be worth it!
Work has still been a little slow..but now that school is back in full swing hopefully more people will come in and get their hair did! ...I know this was really short but I honestly cant think of much more to write about..I promise I'll be better after all the maddness of planning a wedding ends! ♥ you all and hope your all doing well!

Home Alone

Yup..I have the house to myself for about 2 weeks while my parents are on their ctuise to Alaska. And as much fun as it is to have the house to myself, I really hate it! I ALWAYS freak myself out if its dark outside. I'll think I hear someone or something in the house and I start thinking the worst! So i'd call up Nestor and say "babe I think someones in my house!!" and he would reply "..nobodys in your house..your just freaking yourself out again", but I would INSIST that I wasnt imagining things this time and that someone was actually in the house. I'm such a dork! However...Brock scared the crap out of me yesterday. While I was over at Stacey and Lances house giving Lance a huurrr cut, Brock came over and swam I guess. Well..when I left the house I left certain lights on and the back door locked (like always) and the t.v. on and turned up a little so people would think someone was there. Anyways..so when I get back home I walk through the door and the first thing I notice..most the lights are off...what the crap! Ok..so I walked to the back door to go feed the cat..open the door..wait a minute...the freakin back door is unlocked!! So my mind starts wandering and now I think that there is a mob of psycopaths in the house ready to kill me and take everything in the house. SOOO..I hurried into the family room to turn the t.v. up a little more ( somehow I thought that might "scare" them away...i guess) and I look at the doors that go out onto the patio and what do ya know..they are unlocked too! So I hurry to my room, grab my cell and call Brock to see if (hopefully) he came to the house and just didnt tell me he was comming over...and sure enough..he did. Not that he has to call the house everytime he wants to come over, but if im there home alone and not expecting anyone I freak out if I hear a door open and it would be nice to know in advance. ...Anyways...so Nestor and I saw Harry Potter finally last week and it was awesome!...well...except for the kid next to me who kept saying " oh thats ____(insert characters name here), this is going to happen next" and the old man sitting next to nestor who laughed at every freakin word that every freakin character said. I cant stand when people talk throughout a movie. Its ok if someone says one or 2 words quietly..but not so the whole theatre can hear! Sheesh! I was hoping that because we had waited for so long to go see the movie that there would be hardly anyone there..but nope! The theatre was still pretty full and it seemed like everyone wanted to sit by me and nestor! ....Oh well..atleast now I've seen the movie. ....ummmm....wedding plans are still going great, work is still pretty slow but hopefully with summer comming to an end more people will come in to get their back to school cuts. Well...big gulps huh?...

its update time!

OOOOOOKKKK......so I know it seems like I only update my blog every 6 months but things get kinda crazy with wedding plans and everything else! But still..sorry for my slackingness(<- hah..nice word huh!)AAAANNNNNYYYYWAYS!...Wedding plans are going good..well..I think so anyways. I'm pretty sure i've been driving my mom crazy though with my "I dont care..whatever.." attitude. But the thing is...is that I really DONT care about all the specifics..as long as it looks good in the end, I'll be happy! For example...with the flowers, we (me and mom) met with the flower ladies the other day and they were asking me all these questions and I felt like my brain was going to explode! Sure I'm going to be picky with SOME things, but i'll go crazy if I have to tell them every little friggin detail with EVERYTHING! BUT dont get me wrong..i'm so excited for my wedding and soooooooo greatful for all the help everyone has been giving me..i'm just not that picky when it comes to the decorations, flowers, cake,and food. Sheesh...no wonder why people elope! Haha! Oh yeah...for the music I'm having a D.J. for half the night, then a mariachi band for the 2nd half!!! I'm so excited ( and so is Nestor )! I think its going to be lotsa fun! And if Nestor's side of the family dance like most mexicans do, it will go on all night! Oh..and I know I said this in my post before, but just to be sure...the wedding date has been moved to OCTOBER 13th! ( oh and p.s. Nestor's b-day is the 14th..so he better not ever forget an annerversary! )haha! WAIT...STOP THINKING THAT YOU SICKO!..I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING!! "Nestor's going to get a good birthday present!" ...dang right he's getting a good birthday present..he gets to open all the wedding gifts!! Hahahaha i'm funny! ...but seriously..stop thinking that..your freaking me out! ooooh man! ok..enough of that! SO...the other day Nestor and I saw Transformers...it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I'm so glad I promised him i'd see it with him otherwise I would of never gone to see it! I LOVED it! I'd even go see it again! So if you havent seen it yet..you NEEEEED to! I still havent seen Harry Potter ( hopefully I can tomorrow), or Rattitoui(sp?) but I'll get to them eventually. Any other movies you think I should see?

im a horrible blogger!

Heres whats new....the wedding date has been changed to OCTOBER 13th (ryan made me change it..he said he would kill me if i had my wedding on his birthday! hahaha jk!)so mark it on your calendars! All of the wedding plans are going good sofar! My colors are chocolate brown and kinda a bright blueish turquise(sp?).
Work is goin great! Its slowed down a little bit now that school is out..which sucks..but oh well. I havent had any crazy clients lately.......ummm....there really isnt anything too exciting other than the wedding...sorry my life is kinda borring! haha! And I'll try to be better about putting new posts up!

IM ENGAGED!!!!!!

YUP! Nestor proposed to me yesterday around 5:00ish! Im so excited!! Im thinkin that the wedding will be October 6th (on Ryans b-day! ...happy b-day ryan!) So here is how he did it...
I walked into his house and he had a bunch of rose petals in his entry, and his computer set up and a sign that said "press play"..and he made this cute video of him saying how much he loved me and a bunch of sweet things and then he said to walk to the end of the step ( there is a step down going into his living room from the entry) and there was his phone wrapped up with a sign that said "push" (he has one of those mp3 phones that you can play music from by pushing a button on the front) and our song started playing and he came out from around the corner and had my heart pillow that he gave me on our first valentines day with a rose on it with the ring on the rose stem and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!! And ofcourse I said yes!! YAY! Well..i gotta get to work now! (I gotta show off my ring to everyone!!) :)YIPPEEEEE!!!!!

Another update!

The other day Nestor and I drove past Cafe Rio to see how close it was to being done..they have some tables and chairs up...but still not open yet. I cant even begin to tell you how excited I am for it to open! It has been FAR to long since the last time I had one of their delish salads ( and I'll try some of the other stuff there too just for you KJ!) But the salads...yum! I have been craving one soooo bad! I even thought about driving to St. George to get one ( stupid..i know) (i didnt go for your information). Anywho....work is still going good. Its still a little slow, but i'm averaging atleast a client a day, so thats good! And i've been putting out a special for extensions so hopefully I can get some extension clients.... Nestor might be getting a promotion at Target. The lady who is the "manager" of the photo lab has mentioned to him a few times that she is going to leave and she'll train him for her job, which will give him about a 2-3 dollar an hour raise and more hours. So hopefully that happens sooner than later. Oh...the diet thing is going ok...i've lost about 10 lbs since I last posted..whoo hoo! Its not so much the eating thing as it is the excercising. But hopefully the loosing continues! ...Anyways...I dont know what else to write...sorry again that it takes me 10 years to put up a new post!

not much goin on...

Sorry again for the delay in new posts...there really isnt anything new goin on. Work is going good...its still slow..but thats how it is trying to build a clientel. I had a lady today tell me that she was a severe manic-depressant and that if she freaked out for me not to worry...oh boy! But nothing happend...ummmm......I'm doing that diet I did a long time ago with my mom. Hopefully I can re-lose that weight and this time, keep it off! ....I'm really excited for the Cafe Rio to open down here! And that its fairly close to the salon...hopefully I dont destroy my diet too badly with that! Hah! Anyways...thats all I can think of to write for now...sorry. When something exciting happens, I will be sure to write it down!

YAY for making money!

So its been a few weeks since the salon opened. And sofar, so good! Even though it gets borring just sitting there waiting for a walk in, its worth it when someone finally comes in and I get to make money! And its even better because I love doing what I do! ..so here's a funny story..
My very first walk in at the salon, was this lady who claimed to usually get her hair cut by "Johnathan" in L.A. But she couldn't wait any longer so she had her friend ( who mind you cuts her own hair with a FLOW-B..and her dog's hair too...SICK)cut her hair in her garage. So she just wanted it fixed. No big. Not anything hard. So anyways, she came in and talked to the receptionist and said she would be back in 30 min for her haircut. ..So 30 min goes by and I was super nerveous because she was my VERY first official walk in. Anyways, she comes back and is talking to the receptionist and asks, " Can you make sure that I get someone who knows what they're doing...someone who was been cutting hair for a while now. " So I overhear her saying this and think, "oh great...there goes my first walk in!" but McCall (the owner of the salon,..who is also sometimes the receptionist) walks back to my station and says just loud enough for the client to hear " So you've been cutting hair for about...4 years now right Chelsea??" And I looked at her kinda shocked and said, "....yep...." ( Keep in mind that McCall KNOWS that im brand new and that this is my first walk in ) SO the lady walks back and see's me and says " Oh good! You have long hair, so you know how to cut long hair!" ( like the length of MY hair determines my ability to cut hair...weirdo! ) So the WHOLE time she is sitting in my chair she is asking me all these questions like " so where did you work before this?" "how long have you been working?" and other questions that required me to BOLD FACE LIE to her about. So I pulled out all sorts of answers out of my butt. And it worked. I wasn't happy that I had to lie to her. But it got me a client. She ended up loving her hair and so happy that it was able to be fixed. Infact, the next day I walked to this little restaurant place thats next door to the salon and I saw her in there and she yelled out my name, so I went over to talk to her and she introduced me to the guy she was eating with and said to me, "I love my hair!!" And turns to the guy she is with and says, " This is the girl who saved my hair!! She is amazing!" So I felt pretty good! I thought about telling her "oh and by the way, i havent been working for 4 yearts..infact, you were my very first walk in!" ...but i dont think that would of gone over very well!!!
...long story..but i thought it was funny! Oh...i forgot to mention that the whole time she was in my chair i was thinking to myself "woe unto the liar..."...whoops.
...anyways...today was really good too! i did a walk in men's haircut, an updo and a woman and child's cut! yay! :)

Finally! A new post!

Ok..sorry for slacking on my blog everyone..I will try to keep it as updated as I can.
So here is whats new...I am now officially working at the salon! Its so much fun! And I love that I get to see Veronica everyday! Although, i'm sure that she gets sick of my million questions.
-My car is fixed..it has been for a while now. They had to replace the ignition, which thankfully was still under warranty so it didnt cost anything. ...But just recently my engine light came on..oh boy! But my dad thinks its nothing big.
-I ordered a Paul Mitchell color started kit thing which was supposed to be in last wednesday, but when I called to make sure it was there, they said it didnt come so they had to "reorder" it....my butt..they probably just forgot to order it! So I went out and bought a lot of color to hold me over. Hopefully it will be in this thursday. ...Sofar I have spent a bajillion dollars on color and other product getting myself set up at the salon. That crap adds up fast! But considering how quickly I can make it back makes it not so bad. Veronica has very kindly shown me how I need to keep my reciepts and how to file things. Not to mention, saved my butt when I ran out of color doing Nestor's mom's hair!(i was FA-REEKING out!) I would be SOOO lost without her!! THANK YOU VERONICA!!!!! YOUR THE BESTEST!!!!
....other than that, there really isnt much new. I'll put up a slide show of some fairly new pics...and I'll be better about posting new blogs so people dont flip out on me! haha! ♥ ya everyone!!!!

Poop on a Stick!!!!!

It's past 5. I was supposed to leave at 4..but when I went to start my car..the freakin key wouldnt turn!!! I pretty much had everyone who works here at good 'ol Cal's Boat and RV take a look at my car and take a stab at trying to get it to turn, but no luck. So it looks like i'm catchin a ride home with B-ryce! Im glad he is still here! I would be ska-rewed if he had already left. So my car gets to spend the night here and hopefully tomorrow Brock and the other guys in service can work on it if they have time and find whats wrong. Blast! I hate not having my car! (sheesh how spoiled am I!?!..[dont answer that]) But you know what I mean. It sucks not having the car that your used to driving. Anywho..i'll let you know whats wrong with my car when I find out and when it will be fixed..I bet you cant wait! hah!
(and yes..I did try turning the steering wheel and jiggling the key....many times)

The Results are in!!!

And............I PASSED!!!!!!!! I just got results today and it said I got a 100% on my practicle! SA-WEET! I am now officially a licensed cosmetologist! YAAAAAY!!! Now too bad im sick and have been puking my guts out all day. Oh well, I'll have to celebrate tomorrow! Anyways..I just wanted to let everyone know!

I feel like crap!!

So...im sick. Oh joy! Its just a 24 hour thing but I HATE being sick. Then again, I dont think anyone likes being sick. One of the worst things about being sick is the throwing up. Throwing up has to be one of the sickest things people do. Granted 90% of the time after you throw up you feel better..I still hate it! Its a good thing today is my day off from helping at work. Anyways...just thought I would share with everyone. Now, who wants to make me some chicken noodle soup?? hah!

When I was young(er)

So Ryan's latest post made me think of when I was little and the things Lyd and I used to do...ah memories! I think one of my many fondest memories with Lyd would have to be when we would get into arguements and we would say to eachother " I'm going to put a sign in my yard that says NO LYDIA'S ALLOWED!!" and to which Lyd would reply " Yeah, well i'm going to put a bigger sign in my yard that says NO CHELSEA'S ALLOWED!!" and we would go back and forth! Remember that Lyd?? Or when we (Lyd, Ashley and I) stayed up that one night (I think it was Christmas night) and made up songs on Lyd's Talk Girl in front of the fireplace! My song was "When I rode on my donkey, he fell upon the grass. And then my brother told me..he broke his little A double S!"(hey what do you expect..Stacey IS my older sister! hahaha!). And then there was Lydia's honkshew song!! (honkshew honkshew!)...Or there were the times when Stacey and Kissy would babysit us and make us compete against eachother and have relay races across the back of the couch in my dads long robes and have to drink pickle juice at the end. Or have coloring competitions, which I would ALWAYS lose.(and would still lose this day because Lyd is, and always will, be a MUCH better artist!) Or when we would play mirmaids in our pools and put diving rings around our feet so we would look the part more. Or hey, remember when we would play "bucking bronco's" and there was that one time Kissy double-bounced me off of the trampoline onto the cement?? ..yeah I cant remember too much from before that..just kidding Kissy! Oh..another good memory was watching Brock and Ryan play "capture the flag" with all of their friends and I would want to play so bad, but couldn't. BUT, remember that ONE time you did let me play with you guys and I slipped off the diving board and fell in the pool in like December? Oh Brock, do you remember when I would want to sleep in your room on the top bunk and you would always tell me no...so I would always threaten to go cry to mom and dad so they would let me?? HAH...or how about the time you slept walked into my room and told me to scoot over and you got in my bed with me?? hahah! I was so confused as to why you wanted in my bed for like 10 minutes until I realized you had to of been sleep walking so I told you to go to your own bed! OR...hahaha..remember when you were chasing me up the stairs and I slammed the door in your face and made you fall down the stairs!!! haha!! *sigh* good times!!! good times!!! Laugh Out Loud

So have you ever been sitting somewhere, or doing something, and all of a sudden you think of something really funny and cant help but laugh??? I do this ALL the time!! Like today, while driving on the freeway to the store there was a semi towing a semi (so the semi being towed was facing oppisite of traffic...so it looked like it was going the wrong way..got it?) and I thought to myself...It would be really funny if I was driving behind it and just so happend to have someone asleep in the passenger seat and all of a sudden start SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER and scare the crap out of my slumbering friend! And I started laughing out loud at that thought. (which made me think of this and realize that i do this quite often) However, its best when your in public and this happens. Because then you have the people around you looking at you wondering what the heck your laughing at and thinking your out of your mind!....does this ever happen to you?? or am I really as crazy as people think I am??

Sigh of Relief!!!

I'm DONE! I took my practicle test today and I feel like I did ok. I dont want to say I passed or failed just yet ( I dont want to jinx myself ). There was this older lady next to me who made me look like a genius.-bless her heart- When we were doing our perm, we had to show them how to saturate the hair properly with "perm solution" ( there wasnt anything in the bottles..) and so when it was the lady's turn, the instructor said " ok please demonstrate proper saturation" and the lady said "...umm...what does saturation mean?..." ...I think everyone else in the room felt bad for her..she struggled through the whole test. ...there were a few minor things I missed, but my instructor was so busy with the lady next to me I would be surprised if she even noticed. They said I would get my results in 7-10 days and if I passed, my license should be in with my results. So as soon as I find out how I did, I will let everyone know! :) yay!

Somebody shoot me! Please...! Ok....so i've been practicing the haircut for my state boards! i've already gone through like 5 doll heads (which aren't exactly cheap). And I had a few questions about the haircut that I just wanted to be sure about and being Sunday, the Nevada office is closed so I was going to ask Veronica. She said she wasnt 100% sure because she did a different haircut for the Utah test ( utah is a 90 degree haircut and the lady at the office for NV said that this is a 45 degree...) anyways, so Veronica told me to call her friend Michelle who works at the same salon she does and has taken her test a little over a year ago. So I call Michelle and I start asking her my questions and she tells me that it IS a 90 that I have to do and the lady ment that the razor part is at a 45... WHAT THE CRAP!!!! So im TOTALLY freaking out right now because I have been practicing the other haircut and my test is THIS TUESDAY! So first thing tomorrow morning i'm calling the NV office and going to find out 100% which one it is...i'm hoping that they have changed it to a 45 since Michelle took it and all my practice wont be a waste...but it makes more since to be the other way! I'm so burnt out and stressed that I feel like at any moment i'm going to cry. I have been doing nothing but practicing for this stupid test ever since I got my test date and now I hear that i've been practing the WRONG haircut with the rest of today and Monday to practice!! You have GOT to be kidding me!!! ( and I just asked myself why i'm sitting here waisting valuable time writing about this when i should be practicing the RIGHT haircut...) ok....*sigh*... i'm going to get back to my doll heads....pray for me!

Nestor and the Manni Head

k...so nestor was over at my house while i was practicing for my test and he (ofcourse) got bored and passed out on the couch. Well 2 and a half hours passed by and I was done practicing for the day so it was time to wake him up. ( it was like 7:30pm) so i got my manniquin head and put it right infront of his face and pulled out my camera...at first he didnt realize it was there..but then when he does..well..you can see for yourself. good times! enjoy!

i hate tests...

So...I recently got my practicle test date (which is March 6th by the way) and as excited as I am, i'm also FREAKING OUT! I've already passed my written test so this is the last thing standing in my way of getting my cosmo license. I already have a great salon picked out to work at in Summerlin..which opens end of March/beginning April. And i'm super stoked to start working there! I guess one of my main concerns is if I fail my practicle, I wont have my license by the time the salon opens..which I really want and need to be there when it opens.
Everyone is telling me that i'll do fine and that I shouldn't worry. But I cant help it. I HATE tests of all kinds! I always freak myself out! ...anywho...I think i'll feel better after practicing with Veronica and running through the test a few times before the real thing. Well..i'll keep everyone posted about my test...
