Preggers and a yard sale

NO..NOT ME!! (just needed to clear that up) But Nestor and I think our dog Chiquilla is pregnant..AGAIN...we wont know for sure for a few more weeks. And IF she is..that means that Link (her SON) is the daddy..(gross I know..but dogs dont care). Hopefully if she is, the puppies wont come out with like 3 eyes and 12 legs. We didnt think Link was capable of getting her pregnant...because he (as of like 2 weeks ago) is just old enough to be fixed. As much as I dont want her to be pregnant (because it costs us about $300 with vet crap), I DO want her to be so we can play with little puppies..and we could make that money we would make the money we spent..and then some, when we would sell the puppies...and that extra money would be nice!

..Anyways.. we had another yard sale at my moms yesterday. We didnt make as much as we did last week, but we still did pretty good! We made $156! My mom was the "winner". She made about $165ish. All together we made over $600! And we still have SOO much crap left to sell!(A whole trailer full of crap to be exact!) Its so funny what people will buy. The things that you think will be snatched up first dont end up selling, and the random things you decide to sell just for the heck of it go first! I think we all could of sold more things if the weather was better. It was SOO blasted windy! If next Saturday is going to be nice, Nestor and I will have a garage sale at our house. 

...anywho...thats all I can think of to write about...

I'm still alive!!

Sorry for the lack of blogging...not too much has happend. We had Thanksgiving at Stacey's new house and it was awesome! She did a great job! Kevin challenged me to lose 3 lbs the week of Thanksgiving.. AND I DID IT! WOO HOO! ...I went with mom to surprise grandma for her b-day. She was so surprised! It was so fun to see how happy she was when she opened the door and saw us there! My mom and I also got to do some shopping in St. George at "tight pants" and a few other stores. ...Nestor and I put up our Christas tree..it cracks me up everytime I look at it! We will try to get our house lights up tomorrow and we will take some pictures. ( I just realized that I never put any pictures of my house up..whoopsies...sorry!) Saturday was part 1 of the yard sale at my parents house..Nestor and I made $202 from our crap! This next Sat, we will have lots more "gooder" stuff to sell! Hopefully we can make that much again! That would be awesome! 

Anyways...not much else to write about right now. I'll try not to wait so long inbetween posts.

Fright Dome...

So nothin really exciting has been happening...(hence the lack of blogging). 

..Last Saturday, Nestor and I took one of his friends from work, Matt, to the Fright Dome (Adventure Dome) for his (matts) bday. None of us had been during halloween and we decided it would be fun! OK...some advice...if you ever go to the fright dome...dont go on a sat- TONS of LITTLE kids-or if you do be ready to spend freakin $50 for a "fast pass". I say that because we spent about 3/4ths the night STANDING IN LINES( I felt like I was at DL standing in line! haha)

Well...actually...unless you really wanna go on the rides there and see the freak shows they have going on..dont go. I dont feel like it lived up to its hype. The haunted house we went in, they made all the girls come up front and go first (gay). So I was RIGHT UP FRONT w/3 other girls..one who was a "bad A" type girl who had an attitude and the other girl was screaming bloody murder in my ear..oh...and she also wanted to hold my hand walking through so she wouldnt be so scared! *sigh* The haunted house we went through wasnt HORRIBLE, but I thought they could of done a lot better for the price we paid to get in.  They had some people in costumes walking around the whole "park" trying to scare people, which I'll admit, one person got me pretty good, but for the most part they just walked around looking like they just wanted the night to be over and go home. Oh, I forgot to mention that they have the lights off and like 500 million fog machines going...so it looked pretty cool. They also had a bajillion strobe lights which made me feel like I was about to tip over when I walked through them! ...So the best part (in my opinion) was the freak show we watched.. They had this guy who started off by blowing up one of those really long (ballon animal type) ballons down his throat and swallowed it..then he put a sword down his throat and held the mic. to his stomach so you could hear it pop. Then he put some scissors in his nose...all the way in..and opend and closed them *gag*. (there are lots more nose things just fyi!) Then he put an electric screw driver in his nose, followed by him putting this huge meat hook in his nose, which he turned and made it come out his mouth (some blood came out of his mouth and I thought Nestor was going to lose his dinner!). THEN...he put this tube down his nose that had a pump thing on it (kinda like what a hospital would use to pump your stomach..)and in the pump he poured a SOBE drink in, a double shot of expresso, a 5hr energy drink, and some pepto (yes all mixed together..) and pumped it into his stomach-sick- I dont even wanna know how that tasted..-yuck!-..but that isnt the end of his trick. He then got this other tube that had a tap on it, put it down his throat, and somehow got what he just "drank" back into the bottle. *GAAAAAG* I had to turn my head around cause I seriously started gagging and almost heaved! (Sorry if this is turning anyones stomach!) After a few hours of being there (mainly standing in lines for a 30 second thing) we decided to go to Golden Spoon (YUM) ( I wanted some pumpkin pie "icecream") BUT...when we got there it was closed (bummer) so we went across the street to In & Out and got shakes...So that was our Sat night. 

Nestor and I are really enjoying teaching the 14,15,16 AND a few 17 yr olds (its supposed to be just 14-15yr old...but oh well) Those kids are AWESOME! They are such a crack up! Its so weird teaching them because I feel like I should be in the class with them! One of the girls in the class, Morgan, (who is 16) is my visiting teaching companion! She is SUCH a sweetheart! She is also the Bishops and 2nd councelors daughter-NO PRESSURE-haha! 

I am SOOO excited for Halloween! I hope our "haunted garage'' turns out good! I will try to remember to take pictures of it to show all of you!

Yesterday...

So yesterday was Nestor's 21st bday! We both got to sleep in again (yay!) and he wanted Jack in the Crack for breakfast...so thats where we went! A little after breakfast he wanted to go to Game Stop to check out some games, then we went to his parents house and hung out there w/his family. His dad made him a bday dinner ( which you know was good! ) He made these bbq'd grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon for starters (SO GOOD)....then he made this shrimp sandwich that they make at Emrils (a-la-cart cost $15!!) it was VERY yummy! Then for dessert we had bread pudding! I need to get his recipe for that because it is by far the best bread pudding I have EVER had!

After dinner he wanted to go to Best Buy and check some stuff out...so thats what we did! He wanted to see if the new MacBooks were in...but they werent....they said they should get them in next week. So that was his b-day! I feel bad that we didnt do anything exciting....but we kinda need money for exciting stuff! 

♥1 year already!♥

WOW! Its so crazy to think that Nestor and I have been married for a year already! My, how time flys! Married life is the best ever! Especially because I have an AMAZING husband who loves me unconditionally, is the sweetest man EVER, super HOT :), and puts clean laundry away for me! 

So here is how we spent our day (10/13)...

Around 9 we went to Original Pancake House for some yummy breakfast! -Nestor always get the chocolate chip pancakes w/an OJ- I got a bacon & ham omelette w/gouda cheese (YUM!) w/a chocolate milk :)- I can barely eat half, but dont worry..Nestor always ends up eating off my plate!

Then we went to Tilly's to get Nestor some new shoes (his anniv/b-day gift) , then we went to Target to get Iron Man on bluray (also part of his gift) and we also picked up about 50000 lbs of candy (that I WILL NOT eat at ALL!) and lotsa Halloweenie decorations. -We got a strobe light that makes thunder noises, a fog machine, a skeleton to hang on the door, a motion/sound censored skeleton that screams and talks and its eyes flash, and we got a cement lookin skeleton  head thats eyes pulse red...pretty sweet!- Oh, I forgot to mention....We decided to turn our garage into a haunted "house"! So then after that we went to a halloween/party store to pick up a roll of black plastic (meant for table cloths..but were going to hang it from the garage for the haunted house) and Nestor ended up getting a Halloweenie costume-he picked out an "evil jester"...its a pretty sweet costume! I still need to get a costume for me (any suggestions?). So after that we came back to our house and played w/the new decorations (and scared the crap out of the dogs!). Then we watched Iron Man, then a little tv, then we went to Red Lobster for dinner! We both got the"create your own 2" thing w/crab legs and coconut shrimp! Yumm! Anyways...so that was our anniversary play-by-play! Nestor had today off and tomorrow (his bday!!)!  

Yay for being married a year!! 

YAY!

I figured out what to do with my blog. I just needed to let my brain calm down a little (its been on overdrive for the past few days!)

HELP!

...I need some serious help with my blog...

My Pinky

There ya go...there is a pic of my pinky nail! You can see whats left of my nail (by the cuticle).The pink part is the skin thats under the nail...very sensitive!  (sorry the pic is a little blurry...I took it on my phone) 

My finger is feeling LOTS better and my nail has started to grow a little. Hopefully it will grow in how its supposed to!! 

Who needs a pinky nail anyway...

Soo...today I lost my pinky nail. I guess "lost" isnt the right word...more like GOT RIPPED OFF!!! I was moving some towels that were on top of the washer over to the top of the dryer-to put a load in- and my pinky nail caught on something and RIPPED OFF!!! At first I thought it was just my fake nail that came off...but after a closer look, the WHOLE NAIL was ripped up! It was only hanging on by 1/2 my cuticle. So I (painfully) cut as much off as I could so I could get it bandaged up. Theres still a lil nubbin of nail left (the part that is still "attached" to the cuticle). Oh and dont worry, I'll post pictures as soon as its time for a bandage change (I didnt think to take one right before I put one on)! So now I'm trying to avoid any and everything from hitting my pinky. Even putting neosporin (sp?) on hurt!! ....It hurts like HELL!...

...just thought I would share...

I ♥ my fit!

This is seriously the coolest thing ever! When Nestor first bought it, I didnt think anyone could get any kind of work out from it...but BOY WAS I WRONG!!! This thing is awesome! And lotsa fun too! If any of you have a Wii, you need to get the wii fit "game"! Its worth every penny!!!

All done...now what?!?

So..I finished reading book 4 today! ( I LOOOOOOOOVED IT ). So now what do I do?? Back to reality I guess. (HAHA) It was nice to take a break from most things and just read. I havent read like that for a looong time!! I read all 4 books in less than a week! Now I CANT WAIT until the movie comes out! I cant stop watching the previews on youtube!
Well, back to life, back to reality (hah)

No life...

I just wanted to share with everyone that I FINALLY gave in and started reading the Twilight books... SOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! :)
And dont you worry...I finished book one AND book two in LESS THAN 48 HOURS!!! No joke! AND Im already 4 chapters in to book 3. My mom better hurry up and finish book 4 so I can jump right into it! Nestor had no idea that I could even read, let alone read that fast. (He wont touch the books..but he jumps to ask me what happend ever time I squeel or gasp! LOL) Ok...well I just had to let everyone know that I have no life right now! ...Gotta go now...the book is calling me! :)

Monday marks day one of the Nelson's Biggest Loser! I must say that I am SOOOO excited for this! I want.., no.., I AM going to be the one who wins the pot-o-dollas in December! So to those of you who are in this competition along with me, WATCH OUT! ITS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!

Crazy week!

So as the title to this post says, I had a pretty crazy week!
Monday wasnt too busy. Tuesday Braden, Alli and Jess came to stay at our house. But we didnt go straight to our house, oh no. We went to Chuck E. Cheese, had ourselves a good ol time, had some pizza then, after 2 hours of kids running around screaming, and playing some games, did we head home? NOPE, we went next door to Laser Quest and played a round. That was lotsa fun. Jess and Alli didnt want to play at first, but they didnt have much of a choice(if i had to sit through Chuck E. Cheese they had to endure a round at LQ). But after we got in there they started to have fun shooting Bradon, Nestor and this group of stupid teenagers who would scream bloody murder everytime they got hit (the first scream scared Jess and she started to cry a little.) So after laser quest, (oh P.S. I got first place!! WOOT! And Nestor got 3rd, not bad for his first time!) we went back to Nana Nelsons house to get their things and THEN we were off to my house!! Wednesday morning we all headed to my parents house to swim and me, being as white as I am, decided that to speed up my tanning processes, I put baby oil on myself (you can see where this is headed). Well after being out in the pool for an hour or two I was getting pretty red, and it was time for lunch. So we got ourselves some KFC, took a little nap, then Alli and Jess wanted to get back in the pool. So back into the pool for another hour. After the 2nd time swimming, we decided to watch some cartoons while we waited for Nestor to get off. Then when Nestor got off, we took the kids to Wing Stop. After dinner we headed to Block Buster to rent some movies...and after Alli and Jess took a half hour to pick a movie, we went back to my house and started the movies. Around 11ish I got a text from Stacey saying they wanted to come pick the kids up that night, so around 12:30ish they came and the kids were so excited to see their parents!
Thursday, I woke up around 9:15ish and around 9:25ish I got a call from Veronica, and she said " So, you're still watching Claire today right?" I said "yep!" and was about to ask her what time she needed me when she said " So are you on your way right now?" I quickly told her yes ( just FYI at this moment I was sitting on my couch eating breakfast in my pj's) and after we hung up I panicked and got dressed in .2 seconds and Nestor and I were headed out the door. ..I TOTALLY spaced that I was supposed to be at my moms by 9:30 to watch Claire... Luckily, Stacey and Lance were there and so Veronica was able to drop her off with them so she wouldnt be late for her appointment (SORRY AGAIN VERONICA!!!!) I got to my parents house shortly after Veronica left and took over watching Claire and Stacey and her fam went school shopping. Around 5ish Nestor got off work so Claire and I went to get him and shortly after we got back Veronica came to pick her up.
Friday Nestor, his brother and sister and I were invited to go to the lake with Stacey and Lance so we met up with everyone at the store at 8:30 and headed off to the lake. There was a total of 16 of us!! (Lance's uncle from Samoa and his family came with) we all had SO much fun! And me sill being a little sunburned from Wednesday, I made sure I had tons of sunblock on! I did end up getting a little toasty but nothing too bad!
Fast forward to Saturday, Nestor had to be to work by 8:30, and I had to be at my parents house to watch Braden, Alli and Jess by 8:45ish so Stacey and Lance could go to some auctions for my dad. When Stacey was done she came back and brought us back some lunch (THANKS AGAIN STACEY). Nestor got off at 1 so I went and picked him up and then back to my parents house. I passed out on my parents couch while Nestor took the kids swimming. Then after they were done swimming Nestor and I went to Target to buy a TV for our bedroom ( i got another 10% off from having a Target credit card..so we got 20% off the tv!) So we took the tv home, set it up..and there was a big black line through the tv..bummer..So we packed it back up in its box and took it back to the target over by us. BUT, they didnt have any more of that model, or a different model, so we had them check other stores. They told us they had some at the Boca Park location, so we just returned the TV there and went back out to my car to go to the Boca Park Target. So we get in my car...and right before I start to back out, this STUPID FREAKING A- LADY TRIES TO PULL HER BIG A- LIFTED TRUCK INTO THE SPOT NEXT TO ME (note-the spot next to me was too small for even MY car to fit in...so I knew this wasnt going to be good) So as she continues to try to pull her BIG A- LIFTED TRUCK in to the SMALL A- PARKING SPOT she TOTTAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYY starts to rub against the back side of my car!! STUPID SLUT! So I start freaking out! Does she stop trying to pull into the spot?? NOO!!!! She keeps backing in and out of the spot, trying to adjust her BIG A- LIFTED TRUCK, and she just keeps HITTING MY CAR!!! So im rippin PISSED at this moment! So I rolled down my window and started hitting her car yelling " YOUR HITTING MY CAR!!!!!" She rolled down her window and said "Im sorry girl!" (she was mexican....stupid mexican slut!) So there are about 15 people in the parking lot watching this happen in disbelief that this STUPID A- SLUT was trying to park her BIG A- TRUCK in such a small spot! So she FINALLY stops trying to move her car and she gets out to look. I cant get out because her truck is so close to my car. So I sent Nestor out to get her license plate #. So then comes a Target employee who helps back the stupid A- slut out of the parking spot and I yell at her that she isnt going anywhere and she says " Im not going anywhere, im just going to go park my truck" I bet you can guess what happens next...YUP...SHE TOOK OFF!!!!!!!!! But I had her license plate # already and a few witnesses who game me their name and # incase I needed their statement. So now its a "hit and run". So now I can finally get out of my car, so I get out and check the damage...its not too bad (THANK GOODNESS!) but its still something! (ill post a pic soon). So by now im in tears cause im so flippin pissed ( dang my emotions..I always cry!) OH, I forgot to tell you that while she was hitting my car (trying to adjust my car) I called Stacey to ask her what to do. ...I'll spare you the exact words of what I said because they arent very nice words! So I told Stacey what is happening and asked her what I should do. She tells me to call 911. So I did, and they said that because its private property, they cant send an officer out but I can go to a Substation to file a police report. So then I get another call from Stacey and she tells me she is on her way. So Stacey gets there and tells me that she will go with my to the police station.
So we went to the police station and picked up a police report that I have to fill out and take to the DMV to turn in and then they will contact my insurance and they will take it from there. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH STACEY FOR COMING OUT AND GOING WITH ME!! YOU ARE THE BEST! So funny story- When I was on the phone with Stacey she was telling Lance what was happening and he thought someone was beating my car trying to beat me up, so he was like " want me to go with you??" " do you want to take my gun!" hahaha I love you Lance! Its good to know He has my back too if something goes down! Anyways...so I cant do anything until tomorrow. I tried calling my parents...but they are out of town..no,wait, they are OUT OF THE COUNTRY! So now its Sunday, I finished preparing my lesson, and now all I need to do is get ready for church. *sigh* so that was my busy week! Im glad its over. Hopefully no drama happens today or I might just pass out! I hope everyone had a less stressful week then I did! Love you all and im still very g-louse of those of you in China right now!

Still no pics of my new house....sorry....once I get everything put away and decorated I'll take some.
So heres a little of what has been going on at the Ramirez house...
-We got a calling in our new ward! We are teaching the 14 and 15yr old sunday school class (HELP!). I made the mistake of telling Bryce that teaching older kids/adults is one of my biggest fears...whoops. But, we will be ok..it will be a challenge for us, but we can handle it!
-We were able to go to AZ to see Ryan and Lauren get married! They are so cute together! I'm so excited for them!
-The day we got back from AZ, I got a call from Bryce, and he asked us to speak in church this Sunday (thanks bro!). (He assured me that we wouldn't have to speak for atleast a year...maybe two..I'm holding him to that!)
-Nestor is still at the Target he was before we moved..he is waiting to get his yearly review (aka raise) before he puts in to transfer to the one closer to us.
-We are doggysitting my inlaws puppy for a week while they are in Cali. He is PSYCO!!!!! And having 4 dogs at my house feels like 50!
-Im getting a little sick...stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing....lame! (Hopefully it goes away before Sunday!)

Long overdue...

So Nestor and I are in our house finally! We are still putting stuff away..and probably will be putting stuff away for a while!
I'll try to put pictures up soon. I LOOOOOOOOVE being in my own house!!
So last weekend we went up to Cedar to watch my grandparents be awarded as Cedars honorary citizens and got to be the grand marshals of the parade. They were so excited! It was so cute! Nestor was finally able to get work off to come up with us! We also went up to the cabin for a few days. It was Nestors first time up there and he had a blast! He rode the 4wheelers like a pro!
And he just found out that he got the days off for Ry's wedding! WOO HOO!
Well...thats about it for now...ill try to be better about updating!!

S'mo fo yo

Sorry (again) for taking my sweet time writing another post...
They puppies are 6 weeks old today! And after Nestor gets off work we are taking them to get their first set of shots. They are SOOOOO cute! We found a really good home for Zelda! The couple who took her had a corgi before but it drowned in their friends pool when it was only a few weeks old (sad!). And they said that Zelda looked almost identical to the one they had before. They spoil her so much at her new house! It was a little sad saying bye to Zelda, especially for Nestor..after all she was HIS dog...so I told Nestor that if he wanted to pick out a puppy he can...if he wants. Nestor has fallin in love with Link (aka Stinky Linky) so it looks like were still going to have 3 dogs! ...atleast all of them dont shed and are good-small- dogs.
Back to the puppies....they pretty much have all their teeth now (and those things are like razor blades!) And they will follow you around the house in a little mob..its so cute! They are playing and rough housing with eachother!

About my house...it STILL hasnt closed! Hopefully it will this next week! We have already painted and ripped out the nasty carpet! And it looks SOOOOOO good with the walls painted!!! I'll take some pics to show you my cute lil house! I CANT WAIT for it to be all done and ready to move in to! Next time you Utards (haha) come to Vegas you have to come by and see my house!

Quick Update

So, the puppies are a little over 2 weeks old now! And most of them have their eyes open! They are 10x cuter with their eyes open!! I'll take some more pics and post them soon!
I just heard today that the house Nestor and I got in the auction will take about THREE (yes that's 3) MORE FREAKING WEEKS TO CLOSE!!!!!! I am going completely CRAZY! I am DYING to get out of the basement and into my house! As soon as it closes we are going to do the quickest (but nice) re-carpeting, painting and cleaning ever done so we can move in ASAP!!!
OH....another thing, I think we found someone who wants Zelda. They will meet Zelda tomorrow to see if they like her and if she gets along with their other dog. (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!) I have talked to the mom(?) a little bit and she seems really excited about her. I feel like they could give her a really good home.
Anyways..there is a quick lil update for ya! I'll get those pics of the puppies posted asap!

PUPPIES ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY! Chiquilla had her puppies today!! She had the first one at 3ish and the last one at about 8:30! (From what I can tell) They are ALL BOYS!!! And they all seem to be doing good! Chiquilla did really good although I did help her out a little bit (it really wasnt as bad as I thought it would be). I took a few pics on my phone, they arent the best pictures...but we will take more on Nestors camera when we get home from church.

And just so you know...the one thats off to the side had just wiggled over there but right after the picture was taken Chiquilla rounded him up. :) YAY FOR PUPPIES!!!!!!

Update!

So things are still moving forward with the house! We are still waiting for it to close but it should be soon ( I hope! )! The house is 1200 sq ft and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms...the house itself is pretty small but we have a really nice size backyard!! It "needs" new carpet and some paint and thats it! Im SOOOOOOO excited!!! And its like a 2 min walk from Bryce and Sarahs house! So we will be in the same ward which will be SO nice because now I will know people when the first Sunday rolls around! My mom has been telling me and Nestor that even though we move we have to still come to her ward so we can still be teachers. (incase you havent heard, my mom is the new primary pres!!) Back to the house- there is nothing but desert behind us (for now) so thats nice! I will keep you all posted about whats happening!
...So today was a scouting thing for our steak and the Lone Mountain steak and since Mom is the primary pres...Nestor and I "volunteered" to help out...so we were out in the sun all day helping with activities. It was fun helping (for the most part) and there was this nice breeze that kept us cool (it was about 86 outside)....well....since I wasnt feeling hot, I wasnt thinking about getting sunburned (I dont know why I think that if I dont FEEL hot, then I must not be getting enough sun to get burned) ...but...well... When Nestor saw this picture he said "It looks like you still have sleeves! Hahaha!" Yeah..so I got a little cooked! My shoulders dont hurt too bad (yet) but the sides of my neck are already hurting! OH BOY!!! Nestor got a little sun too, on his nose and cheeks and a little on his arms..but he just looks more mexican now! haha! I REALLY hope I dont peel!! If only all burns didnt peel and just turned into beautiful tans!! That would be nice!
...Nestor and I took Chiquilla in for an x-ray to see how many pups she is having and the vet said "for sure 5...maybe 6"! And she is due in about a week & a half to 2 weeks!! FUN! Im so excited but I cant help but be soo nervous for her! Since most dogs give birth in the middle of the night I worry that if something happens nobody will be able to help because everyone will be sleeping!

Old School Tunes

So recently I have been listening to a lot of "old" music.(Incase you cant tell from most of my music on here) And when I say "old" I mean 90's music. Like Boyz II Men, Shai, Mariah Carey (her old stuff obviously), Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. There were sooo many good songs in the early 90's! I remember sitting on the top bunk in Brock's room when he was gone and I would listen to his cd's forever...well..atleast until he came home..lol! Anyways...I am curious as to what YOUR fav "old" songs are! Its crazy how songs can bring back memories of things!

Chiquilla is getting SOO big! I think we are taking her in later this week to get her x-rayed to see exactly how many puppies are in there!!! :) Im so excited for her to have these puppies!!

PUPPIES!!!!!!!

MY SHIH TZU'S PREGO!!!!!! Nestor and I took her to the vet today to make sure she was pregnant (it was pretty obvious to the naked eye that she was) and the vet said that there were "lots" of little ones in there but its still too soon to tell exactly how many! Chiquilla (my shih tzu) even got an ultra sound and the vet gave us pictures! Hah! She is a little over a month along and has about 4 weeks left (dogs are only pregnant for a little over 2 months!)!
Since she has been at Nestor's parents house for a little over a month it must of happend right before we separated her from Gizmo (our Lhasa Apso), who is the dad! The puppies are going to be SOO cute! I cant wait for them to come! Now...just to make this clear, this was not done on purpose! I promise!
I think Nestor's parents might keep one, and we will sell the rest. (so if you know anyone who wants a cute little fur ball let me know!) ..but were not sure how much yet..
Im so excited that I get to play with lots of little puppies for 6 weeks before we have to sell them! (which i can almost gaurantee i will be very sad for that day to come..but i'll get over it!)
Anyways..I just wanted to share the happy news!
Oh and P.S. you should of seen the looks on my family's faces when I said " GUESS WHO'S PREGNANT?!?!" HAAAAAHAHA It was awesome! I then followed with a "no, not me!!"

Moved!!

Yep! I moved to a new salon! I now work at the Beauty Center off of Durango, in the Kohl's shopping center! Tuesday was my first day here and so far so good (except for one thing that happened but I will get to that later!) I have my own room that has its own sink and dryer, and I got to decorate however I want! I'll take some pics and post them soon. Ok, so here is what happened...tuesday, my first day here, lots of people are coming by my room to say hi and to introduce themsleves to me. And this one lady who works here came up to me and said "I just wanted to tell you that I haven't had a walkin in 4 weeks! Its so dead here! I've been here ever since this place opened and I'm here 5 days a week from 9-5 and its SOOO dead! I've seen soooo many girls come here who are building their clientelle and they only last a month or two because they can't make enough money! I don't know what they told you when you signed up here, but whatever it was, they were lying! So good luck cause your gonna need it!" She went on for about 10 min on how dead it is here and how I should basically get out now while I can. So after she left I started freaking out a little cause that's one of the reasons why I left the other salon. So I decided to go talk to the receptionist to see how many walkins they had last week. And the receptionist told me they had 9 last sat and this Monday they had 5! So after hearing that I felt a little better. Well about 10 min later I got a walkin for a color! And while I was busy with my client that lady walked by my room and I just smiled at her! She probably was just trying to scare me away. I have had atleast one walkin a day sofar. So we will see how things go...its slow everywhere but its nowhere near as bad as she says! Oh, and she hasn't been here since Tuesday....so much for her being here 5 days a week from 9-5!!! Hah! Anyways.....so that's pretty much all that's been going on sofar..I'll write more with pictures later. Love ya!!!

A much needed update!

Sorry for the lack of posts...here's whats new.
I'm friggin sick! I have a horrrrrrrrrrrible cold/flu. I went to UMC QUICK CARE the other day and after only waiting 3 and a half hours(they should really change their name to UMC Extremely Slow Care) I got a perscription for amoxicillin. My voice sounds like an air pop corn machine and my throat has never experienced such pain! I DREAD swallowing because it hurts so much! I have a fever, headache, oh and my cough, well I try to keep myself from coughing as much as possible because I always end up coughing up a lung and my body aches like no other. Oh yeah and I think my nose is going to fall off from blowing it so much! ( I'm on my THIRD box of Puffs Plus since thursday). Anyways..enough of that.
Here is an update on our dog drama...We brought Zelda back from Nestor's parents house. We felt guilty for leaving her over there for so long..so we set up a little area for her..LINED WITH CHICKEN WIRE (i wasnt kidding about the chicken wire earlier). Chiquilla is NOT happy that Zelda is back..she FREAKS out whenever Nestor and I pet Zelda or even walk over by her. And she (chiquilla) tries to pick fights with Zelda..even though Chiquilla is the one who always gets hurt..not Zelda. Speaking of Chiquilla getting hurt...Nestor and I went out this morning to feed the dogs and we were petting Zelda and Chiquilla started freaking out as usual, and normally Zelda just ignores her for a little bit, well...Zelda started to bark back at her and so Chiquilla started barking and trying to bite through the fence to get to Zelda and the freakin idiot (Chiquilla) RIPPED A TOOTH OUT on the fence!!! Nestor quickly hopped the fence, grabbed her and we brought her in the house and cleaned and checked her out. Shes just fine, minus a tooth. SO because of this we decided to give Chiquilla to Nestor's parents. They werent so happy about having Zelda (because she is CRAZY and chews....and digs..) So we offered Chiquilla and they are more then happy to take her. So thats good. No more dog drama..hopefully! So that was our dog drama. Moving on..Work still sucks butt for me at the salon. Its deader than a doornail. Nestor is still photo lab specialist at Target, he has mentioned to a few of his managers that if a higher position at the store opens up that he wants it, so we will see what happens with that.
..There is a house auction coming up really soon and there is a house that Nestor and I REALLY like in it, but we're not getting our hopes up. OH...anyone up for a trip to cali???? I vote that a BUNCH of us should go to cali for a few days and go to disney or six flags and possibly even the FD! I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED a little vaca!! Anywho..let me know if anyone would be interested or have other fun things we could go do.
K..well im done...LOVE YA!!!!!!

Back to square one...

So...we didn't get that house. Oh well...no teal carpet for us! Haha! There is another auction coming up on the 29th and there are a few possibilities for us so we will see what happens. Most of them are fixer uppers but that's no biggie, the only "bad"thing about that is that it will take longer to move into. I feel like the walls of the basement are closing in on me! I'm getting so sick of our stuff being everywhere because there isn't room for it. I am SOOOO excited for the day when I'll be able to put my kitchen stuff away and not have clothes everywhere because we dont have enough closet or drawer space! And this is going to sound so retarded but I can't wait to go grocery shopping for our own fridge and pantry!!! Hopefully that day will come sooner than later. BUT....I know that it will happen when its supposed to happen so until then I just have to make the best of it. Anyways...nothing too exciting is happening in our lives at the moment, just the usual work for Nestor and sitting on my butt waiting for clients for me. If anything happens I'll post it up asap. About freakin time!!

Sorry it has taken me sooo long to change my page, music and write a new post! Hopefully you like the new stuff (especially the *Nsync music!!...does it take you back Lyd??) Hah!
Anyways...so we are STILL waiting to hear about the house...its driving me freakin insane waiting! Oh...if you didnt know, my dad "won" a house in an auction and we are waiting to hear if they except the offer...and its taking FOREVER!!! As much as Nestor and I LOVE living in the basement (for free)...We would love even more to have a place of our own! But if it doesnt work out...there is always something else out there for us!
Hmm...lets see..whats new in our lives?..Umm..Well work is still slow. Building a clientele sucks! As much as I love doing hair im not into the whole sitting on my butt all day waiting for one person....but I guess thats what needs to be done. Work for Nestor is going good..he is still the Photo Lab Specialist at Target ( and we're still getting 10% off everything..heehee! ) Oh, our dog Zelda (the funny looking one with the really short stubby legs) thought it would be fun to pick fights with Chiquilla (the shih tzu) so now we have to keep them separated. At first we just sectioned a part of their little area off for her with more of that fence thats already up..but nooo Zelda pulled Chiquillas head THROUGH one of the holes of the fence (which are quite small) and almost tore her head off! Good thing Nestor and I were back there to get Zelda off of Chiquilla before she was decapitated. Poor Chiquilla. *sigh*...So now Zelda is staying at Nestors parents house for the time being until we can figure out something to do with her. At first we were debating to give her away but, if any of you really know me...there is NO way I could give one of our dogs away to a stranger. SOOO...when we get our own house, with our own yard, we will set up two different sections for the dogs..with chicken wire...so no heads can be pulled through! But until then she gets to stay at my in-laws. ( we asked if they wanted her...but they didnt like that idea too much)....Anyways!...thats all I can think of to write about. I'll try to be better about keeping updated posts!
